Q:

I was wondering if you could give me the address of the hardware store you shop at for your presentation items. Is it in Napa? |
` |
The store that Michael highlighted in his show is Hacienda Hardware. The address is:
1989 St. Helena Highway
Rutherford, Ca (707) 963-8850
It is located in the Napa Valley, on Highway 29, in the town of Rutherford. The store is on the west side of Highway 29, in a wood building that looks like an old train depot. It is right across the street from Rutherford Grill and Beaulieu Vineyard, and in front of Niebaum Coppola Winery. It's only a few miles down the road from Tra Vigne Restaurant. |

Q:
My husband says he would really like the Bloody Mary recipe that Michael does! |
Bloody Mary with Corn Juice
This is a recipe where the ratio is the important factor. The key is
to keep everything VERY fresh, so juice only what you will be using at one
specific sitting.
Tomato Juice (fresh) 75%
Corn Juice (fresh) 25%
Optional: alcohol of choice to desired strength.
Ground fennel seed (toasted) 1 T
Gray Salt 3 T
Celery Salt 2 t
Mix all together. A larger amount can be made, and it will keep great
flavor for two weeks in a sealed air-tight container. |
